Lady Eleanor Lewis

A woman of integrity with a passion for hearing and learning God’s word and one who has a sincere passion to see God’s people grow in His grace and knowledge, gives an apt description of Lady Eleanor Lewis, the First Lady of Greater Macedonia Baptist Church.

She is well regarded in the Christian community for her quiet and reserved demeanor, but she is also known as someone who loves to laugh.  1 Peter 3:3-4 says “Don’t be concerned about the beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God (NLT).

The Bible teaches that a meek woman does not avoid or run from controversy, but walks through necessary confrontations under the control of the Holy Spirit… (Galatians 6:1-2; Proverbs 27: 5). Lady Eleanor is a meek and phenomenally made.

A woman of virtue and a woman who compliments her husband’s ministry as a dedicated wife and mother. Since their start in ministry in 2011, as the new leaders of the Greater Macedonia Baptist Church, Lady Eleanor has worked tirelessly beside her husband, Pastor Vincent “Ben” Lewis. She and the Pastor are the proud parents of two handsome sons, Dalvin and Travis.

One of the most difficult roles for a woman is the role of a pastor’s wife. This role can be extremely demanding, tiring, self-sacrificing, and emotionally draining. So often they are forgotten as the one who is the pastor’s greatest supporter, cheerleader, confidante, friend and lover. Lady Eleanor fulfills her role well.

First Lady Eleanor is truly a faithful, humble servant for Christ.
